Becoming Gigi!

I am so elated to be a first-time Grandma! I am "Gigi" to my twin granddaughters, Harper and Nora, who are 2 1/2 years old! They are daughters to our daughter and her husband. They call my husband, their Grandpa, Papa, and he is also thrilled to have that name!

We basically let the girls decide what they would call us as their Grandparents! We love the names they have chosen, and one of my favorite things is when the girls shorten "Gigi" to "Geeg"! To hear them say, "Hi Geeg!", or "I love you Geeg!" just warms my heart and fills my world with love!

Take it from Gigi, you can believe everything you might hear about how wonderful it is to become Grandparents!

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Carole, but my Grandchildren call me Gigi, and I love this name so much, I decided to use it for my blog!

I am an avid user of Facebook and Instagram, but there are times when I have more to say or share about a topic than should be on those social media apps! So, I will begin blogging when I have something to say! The topics will be full of variety, and I hope if you visit my blog, you will enjoy these posts, and maybe even find a common thread in them related to your life! I look forward to your comments, but I must add, I'm not interested in debates! After all, this is MY blog!
